Stentor Consulting assisted Lyceum College to update the learning materials for their Certificate in Fleet Management, which is accredited as a Higher Education Qualification. This Certificate Programme forms the foundation for further study towards a Diploma in Fleet Management, which is currently in the development phase.

The programme is endorsed by the South African Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (SAVRALA) - the trade association for the vehicle daily rental, leasing and fleet management industry, where it represents more than 90% of the companies involved.

The Certificate programme consists of five Compulsory Fleet Management subjects and 2 electives:
Compulsory subjects
1. Fleet Management 1 (FMAC 1)
2. Short-term Rentals Management (STRM 1)
3. Motor Sector Analysis (MIMA 1)
4. Maintenance Management (MAMG 1)
5. Vehicle Selection and Procurement Management (VSPM 1)

Electives
There are three electives of which two have to be chosen.
The list to choose from is:
* Cost & Management Accounting (100CMS)
* Sales Management (SAM100)
* Organisational behaviour (100ORS)
