Stentor Consulting is owned and managed by Sarel Visagie.

Sarel is an experienced individual, educated in commerce (M.Comm - Strategic Management), with a broad background spanning 20 years in operations management, training, strategic marketing and product development mostly spent in the asset finance, fleet management and transport industries. He has been managing people at clerical, supervisory and managerial level.

He matriculated in 1978 in Bloemfontein, where he also completed his B.Com degree at the University of the Free State in 1983. He moved to Johannesburg where he started his career at a public transport company where he worked for five years before joining Standard Bank. He left the bank after fifteen years to pursue his passion and execute his ideas. Stentor Consulting was incorporated in July 2003.

Sarel completed his B.Com Hons (Strategic Management) degree at Rand Afrikaans University (RAU) in 1991. He continued his studies at RAU to complete his M.Com (Strategic Management) degree in 1995. His thesis explored the use of computer-based management simulations as training instrument for South African managers, entrepreneurs and students. He has qualified and is registered as assessor.
